¡Mucho Gusto!

The goal of this project is to teach myself to cook “authentic” Mexican food (in the comfort of my home) by cooking every recipe in Chef Rick Bayless’ cook book, Authentic Mexican: Regional Cooking from the Heart of Mexico, first published in 1987.

I started this blog with the hopes of documenting and sharing my culinary journey as well as interacting with “foodies,” cooks, and other like minded individuals.
